Indigenous Women and Young Women Mapping the Way Ahead for Lives Free of Violences

The series “Indigenous Women and Young Women Mapping the Way Ahead for Lives Free of Violences” (2022) is the result of a joint creative effort involving elderly and younger indigenous women with different profiles: leaders, lawyers, communicators, midwives and healers, academics and defenders. All share their reflections, initiatives and proposals to prevent, eradicate and respond to violences.

The series created by the Continental Network of Indigenous Women of the Americas (ECMIA) and CHIRAPAQ Centre for Indigenous Cultures of Peru includes conceptual reflections, obstacles, proposals, practices and questions which invite us to follow the dialogue within our networks, organizations and communities to make progress towards a comprehensive approach and response to violences.
